Weekly Services
are conducted in our Sanctuary located at 109 East 39th Street between
Park and Lexington Avenues in Manhattan, New York. We are about three
blocks south of Grand Central Station. Services are officiated by Rabbi
Joyce Reinitz. To accommodate all Jews, particularly those who wish
to attend movement affiliated Shabbat Services on Saturday, services
are held on Sunday mornings at 11:00 A.M. throughout the year. Each
service offers the opportunity for a spiritual experience, traditional
prayer, meditation and a sermon pertaining to the challanges of everyday
life. We welcome Jews from all four branches of Judaism, in addition
to those who are unaffiliated or returning to Judaism.
Free
Breakfast and Class. Prior to services, at 9:45 A.M., we begin
the day with a social breakfast of delicious bagels, fish, cream cheeses
and other treats. The class, taught by Rabbi Joyce Reinitz, follows
at 10:10 A.M. with lessons from the weekly Torah portion, the Festivals
and other special occasions. All are welcome.
