Weekly Services
are conducted in our Sanctuary located at 109 East 39th Street between
Park and Lexington Avenues in Manhattan, New York. We are about three
blocks south of Grand Central Station. To accommodate all Jews, particularly those who wish
to attend movement affiliated Shabbat Services on Saturday, services
are held on Sunday mornings at 11:00 A.M. throughout the year. Each
service offers the opportunity for a spiritual experience, traditional
prayer, meditation and a sermon pertaining to the challanges of everyday
life. We welcome Jews from all four branches of Judaism, in addition
to those who are unaffiliated or returning to Judaism.
Morning Class
Prior to services, at 10:00 a.m., we begin our day with a class on the various aspects of Judaism,
its teachings, the lessons of Rabbi Morris Lichtenstein and Tehilla Lichtenstein and how these can
guide us through our daily challenges. Discussions include the weekly Torah Portion, the holidays and festivals. All are welcome.
